"I find the most important thing in life is to build engines with your time; create something that will only mature with time. For example, when learning something new your mind takes each night's rest to digest information and turn it into long term knowledge. With each sleep you can only learn so much and so its very difficult to improve "faster" than someone else (tools and learning strategies help only to an extent). If someone looks at a years worth of genuine consistency; it cannot be reproduced in a day. Writing a journal, hanging your own art in your space, and crafting tools which you use daily are few ways of doing this."
