Decision Paralysis

Expression is a form of therapy. Understanding why you feel is something everyone grapples with.
It is very easy to get stuck in the cycle of doing nothing and feel helpless. Continuous sleep, work, rest, sleep. A burnt out brain will seek rest and take the easiest possible route. This can lead to eventually neglecting things you love. Why? It can be caused by a fear of doing anything; Even leaving the house or doing simple things such as cleaning the sink can become serious chores. This sinister guilt is potentially born of a knowledge of what you "should" do.
We have all been there; making list after list but never achieving anything. You undetstand there are problems but you are too exhausted to deal with them. One down a day, then two more on the stack. Isnt it fucked that society expects your only productive behaviour to come through work and in your time off rest for the next day. Your one contribution to the productivity of the human race through your 9-5 can fuck over your dreams and desires. Just feeding, exercising and mentally supporting yourself becomes harder; as dependence on simple luxuries grows. Those who are strong will take on more responsibilities to care for those who cannot.
Now; what is there to do about it. Why am I ranting such; I honestly think momentum is huge here. Doing one small thing to get started will give some confidence. Negative momentum needs to be acknowledged but not be a deal breaker. You miss one target, take it in your stride. Easy to say; hard to achieve.
One final piece of advice:
Sit down and think, spend time letting your head clear of thoughts. Get a pen and scribble. Let the shapes take up the space and give your brain the space to dream what they should be. Remember these scribbles dont mean anything. The darkness of the ink, the madness of the strokes, the calmness of curves. Let out what you are holding back.
This mediatative exercise can be a equivalence to writing a diary.
A diray is direct and challenging wheras a drawing can be raw, symbolic and emotional.
